SALT WATER FISHING - mackerel, pollock and sea trout are caught from the wharf in front of the property. License not required. Deep see fishing can be arranged.
- FRESH WATER FISHING - Several famous salmon and trout rivers and lakes are an easy drive away, and the Salmon River at Port Dufferin is within walking distance. License is required.
- HIKING - Maps available for nearby coastal and wilderness hikes.
- BEACHCOMBING & SWIMMING - Taylor Head Provincial Park, 27 km west, offers a glorious uncrowded stretch of white sand beach, with woodland trails for the more adventurous.

- SHERBROOKE VILLAGE - A restored 19th century gold mining and shipbuilding village on the banks of the St. Mary's River, 64 km east. Artisans in traditional dress demonstrate craftsmanship of the past.

- PHOTOGRAPHY & BIRD WATCHING - The rugged coastline and low population density provide excellent habitats for many species of seabirds, and the quaint fishing villages are a photographer's delight.
